National Flood Insurance Program Changes
The National Flood Insurance Program announced that it is making changes to the program, effective October 1, 2009. Premiums will increase an average of 8 percent overall. The greatest jump will be for policies in the highest risk categories-inside the Special Flood Hazard Areas. Deductibles will double for most types of policies. However, coverage limits will be raised for buildings and contents. Contact your Cravens Warren commercial flood insurance specialist today to see how this change may affect you.
