IIAH's mission is to further the success of Houston area independent insurance agents through education, advocacy, networking and community service."
The Independent Insurance Agents of Houston is the largest local
insurance agent association in the country. It is an association with a strong
commitment to education, governmental affairs, services and
publications, to keep its' members on the leading edge in the industry.
As with any association, the strength of IIAH is due to the
volunteer efforts of its' members. Volunteers
provide most all of the services for the members. The current
committees of IIAH include:

The Independent Insurance Agents of Houston
provides a complete range of insurance classes from Property/Casualty license exam preparation classes to advanced technical studies for local agent members. IIAH offers online CE courses, a 6 week Insurance Service Associate training program and as a licensee for the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors, IIAH offers courses leading to the professional designation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC).
