Course Provider Bond, Driver Education School Bond or Driver Education Branch School Bond

Course Provider Bond, Driver Education School Bond

What is the difference between a course provider and a driving safety school?

The course provider is responsible for administrative functions for the driving safety course to include printing the uniform certificates of course completion, mailing certificates to students, updating the course as necessary, training all instructors, electronically reporting certificate usage to TEA, and ensuring that the classes are provided by licensed schools and instructors who are qualified to teach the course.

The driving safety schools are responsible for providing the courses to the public.  They must follow all the course provider's and TEA's policies and procedures.
