CAA Background

Combined Agents of America was founded in1997 by eight independent insurance agents in Central Texas. Those agents shared a common desire and commitment to strengthen the independent insurance agency system in Texas through profitable growth and quality service.

A closed managing general agency, CAA was created to manage production to the insurance companies that contracted with CAA. In the past 10 years Combined Agents of America has consistently grown with it’s licensed insurers so that now CAA has 35 agencies throughout Texas that produce approximately $430,000,000 in annual written premium (as of 12.31.06). CAA agents are able to deliver better products at lower premiums to their customers as a result of the combined bargaining power and the shared knowledge of the group. More insurance companies are represented due to the group’s volume and the collaboration within the group spurs creative solutions to difficult underwriting challenges.

CAA agents are a select group of insurance professionals that exhibit financially sound management styles. They are leaders in their business communities. They have passed highly selective financial and premium profitability analysis to become members. Ongoing monitoring of every member’s loss ratios is a commitment to the insurers that CAA agents will deliver profitable business to them. All CAA agents are independent businessmen but with a common goal of being the best that they can be for their customers and for their insurance companies.
CAA is now one of the leading independent agents in Texas with many of the top rated insurance companies. It is also one of the fastest growing agents in the state.
